- Sit on the cable rowing station of the machine.
- Secure your feet on the footpads or platform.
- Maintain an upright posture and engage your core muscles.
- Use a straight bar or a wide grip handle for a wide grip.
- Keep your shoulders back and chest out, then slowly pull the bar towards yourself.
- Open your elbows outward as you pull (they should be at shoulder level).
- Pull the bar or handle towards your chest.
- Squeeze your back muscles and hold for 1-2 seconds.
- Slowly and with control, return to the starting position.
