How to Do Cable Seated Wide Grip Row?

  • Sit on the cable rowing station of the machine.
  • Secure your feet on the footpads or platform.
  • Maintain an upright posture and engage your core muscles.
  • Use a straight bar or a wide grip handle for a wide grip.
  • Keep your shoulders back and chest out, then slowly pull the bar towards yourself.
  • Open your elbows outward as you pull (they should be at shoulder level).
  • Pull the bar or handle towards your chest.
  • Squeeze your back muscles and hold for 1-2 seconds.
  • Slowly and with control, return to the starting position.
