How to do Slow Skater (Beginner)?

  • Stand upright with your feet shoulder-width apart.
  • Slightly bend your knees and lean your torso slightly forward.
  • Keep your hands naturally in front of your body.
  • Step your right leg out to the side with a big step, mimicking a sliding motion.
  • Lift your left leg slightly off the ground behind your right leg in a cross position to maintain balance.
  • At the same time, bring your left hand towards your right knee (in a natural running-like motion).
  • Now repeat the same movement to the other side. Step your left leg out to the side with a big step and cross your right leg behind it.
  • Bring your right hand towards your left knee.
