How to do Slow Skater (Beginner)?
- Stand upright with your feet shoulder-width apart.
- Slightly bend your knees and lean your torso slightly forward.
- Keep your hands naturally in front of your body.
- Step your right leg out to the side with a big step, mimicking a sliding motion.
- Lift your left leg slightly off the ground behind your right leg in a cross position to maintain balance.
- At the same time, bring your left hand towards your right knee (in a natural running-like motion).
- Now repeat the same movement to the other side. Step your left leg out to the side with a big step and cross your right leg behind it.
- Bring your right hand towards your left knee.
- Perform the movements slowly and with control.
- Make sure not to lift the cross leg too high; the focus is on balance and form.
