How to Do One Dumbbell Triceps Extension ?
- You can do this exercise either standing or sitting on a bench. Take a dumbbell in one hand and use your other hand to stabilize and support your arm.
- Hold the dumbbell with both hands, palms facing upward, and lower it behind your head.
- Keep your elbows steady and slowly lift the dumbbell upward, fully extending your arms.
- Make sure your triceps are fully engaged and stretched.
- Lower the dumbbell in a controlled manner back to the starting position behind your head. Be sure to keep your elbows from flaring outward.
- Keep your back straight, avoiding any slouching. During the movement, only bend and extend your elbows; avoid moving your shoulders.
- Avoid using a dumbbell that is too heavy to ensure you maintain control over your triceps.
