How to Do Squat?
- Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart. Hold a dumbbell in each hand with your arms by your sides and palms facing your body. You can either hold the dumbbells at shoulder height or let them hang by your sides (depending on personal preference).
- Keep your back straight, chest up, and shoulders back. Bend your knees and push your hips back as if you are sitting down on a chair. Lower your hips towards the ground while keeping your back straight.
- Engage your core muscles throughout the movement to maintain balance. Stop when your knees are bent at about 90 degrees, or when your hips are level with your knees.
- Push through your heels and squeeze your glutes as you stand back up to the starting position.
