How to do the Bulgarian Split Squat?

Place your feet shoulder-width apart. Position one foot on a bench with the top of your foot resting on it. Your spine should be in a neutral position. Hold a dumbbell or kettlebell in your hand.

Bend your front knee to lower yourself until your back knee is about 1-2 cm from the ground, with your torso leaning slightly forward.

As you lower yourself, make sure that your front knee does not extend past your toes. Keep the heel of your front foot on the ground, and ensure that your knee does not move inward or outward.
